 Second Chance Opportunity ShopWarburton Street, Gymea This outreach has been operating for about 20 years with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers who have great fun helping others. Each month thousands of dollars are returned to the community, in response to requests from needy organizations. Clean clothing, books and small bric-a-brac items are always required, and sold on to customers at very affordable prices. Drop in for a chat and look at the quality items. Bread MinistryProvides bread on a weekly basis for those in need. Craft Group This friendly group of ladies meets each Thursday at the Miranda Church Hall from 9.30am to 12 noon. Come in for a cuppa, chat and friendship as well as learning about many aspects of craft, including quilting, patchwork, sewing, embroidery, bear making, knitting, card making and more. Hospital and Nursing Home VisitationVisits and worship services arranged. Drug Arm Financial and volunteer support for this group which reaches out to people affected by drug use in our community. Prison Fellowship Volunteers provide court attendance support. Property Bookings The Miranda property is available for use by local community groups.
